More Than Convenience
In this series, I will cover other gas stations and retail stores I found to be of interest but are not directly related to Sing Oil Company. The primary tie-in will be other stores located in the vicinity of a former Sing that have some retail significance of their own, or were just fun to take pictures of! When I realized I had slowly been accumulating pictures from other retail categories, I wanted to find a way to share them and their story. I evaluated my stores of interest and found that most of them were within five miles of a Sing Store. How fitting! Now I can add some diversity to the blog's content while also staying close to my mission of documenting the regional gas retailer.
The name of the series, More Than Convenience, comes from Sing's 1980's motto, More Than Convenient, and is meant to signify posts that go beyond the typical convenience stores featured thus far on the blog.
